Claire is a registered dietitian, specialising in weight management, cardiovascular nutrition and health behaviour change. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 with a degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics. She then completed a Diploma in Management Studies and a Masters in Health Promotion at NUI Galway. Claire is part of the teaching faculty for the Masters in Preventive Cardiology at NUI Galway and is an Honorary Clinical Fellow of the School of Medicine. Prior to joining the Seapoint Medical Centre, Claire was the lead Specialist Cardiac and Weight Management Dietitian for the Croí Heart and Stroke Centre and the National Institute for Preventive Cardiology. She has previously been a member of the Safefood Scientific Advisory Committee for Ireland. She has also worked as a dietitian for the Mater Hospital, Dublin.
A member of the Irish Nutrition and Diatetic Institute, Claire is a highly experienced and enthusiastic dietitian who can help you achieve your goals with your health and wellbeing. Based in the Seapoint Medical Centre Barna, she is available for consultations in a comfortable and supportive enviroment. Claire strives to provide a high quality and professional service for all her clients.
